Exploring the Sea Level Rise Toolkit: A Resource for Coastal Interpreters

We are excited to introduce the newly developed Sea Level Rise Toolkit, a comprehensive resource designed for Coastal Interpreters educating the public on sea level rise, climate change, and coastal erosion. This toolkit represents a significant step forward in our efforts to enhance public understanding and engagement with these environmental issues.

You can find the Sea Level Rise Toolkit on SharePoint or TEAMS. It has been organized into five folders to assist you in navigating its contents effectively:

1. Understanding the Science: Sea level rise research and related resources including the fundamentals of climate change.
   
   
2. Making Connections: How to include sea level rise in interpretive programs, projects, and planning.
   
   
3. Strategies and Policies: State Parks position on sea level rise and how to discuss sea level rise with park stakeholders.
   
   
4. Media: Resources to use for social media, graphics, exhibits, and publications.
   
   
5. Learn and collaborate: Tools for learning, including trainings and webinars and resources for collaborating with climate change and environmental education networks.

It's important to note that the Sea Level Rise Toolkit is a "living" resource, meaning it will be continually updated with fresh content, program templates, and graphics. We encourage you to explore its offerings regularly to use these resources to enhance your sea level rise programming efforts within our parks.
